VCbrain ("we") operates this non-commercial showcase and demonstration website — we do not sell goods or services or take payments here. We still process a small amount of personal data (below), so for that we act as the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Questions or requests: [email protected].

Demo requests: if you submit the “Request a demo” form, we process the name, work email, fund and any message you provide, in order to respond to you. Legal basis: your consent / steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(a)/(b) GDPR).

Gated demo: the interactive demo and pitch are behind a shared login. The login uses a signed session cookie; we do not create personal accounts here.

Content you enter into the live demo: the “Live brief” and “Ask company brain” tabs send the audio or text you provide to our processors (below) to produce a result. Please do not enter real personal data or confidential deal information into the demo.

Server logs: our hosting and proxy keep standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, request metadata) for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working: your language preference and, on the gated demo, your login session. These are always on and require no consent.

Optional analytics is off until you allow it in the cookie banner; you can change your choice any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. No analytics or marketing cookies are set without consent.

We use a small number of processors to run the site: cloud hosting on Amazon Web Services (EU region) fronted by Cloudflare; email delivery for demo requests; and, only for the live demo surfaces, the AI/search APIs OpenAI, Gradium and Tavily, which process the content you submit there. We do not sell personal data.

Our product commitment is that fund data is not used to train third-party models; on this showcase site that applies to anything you choose to enter into the live demo.

We aim to keep data in the EU/EEA. Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

We keep demo-request details only as long as needed to follow up and for our records, then delete them. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security.

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We may update this notice as the site and product evolve. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
